The Fobus standard series holsters are made from a special blend of injection molded polymer. Built around a passive retention system, then standard series holsters mechanism acts like a spring on the trigger guard area in order to firmly hold the firearm securely in place. In order to use this holster properly the manufacturer recommends tightening you belt, place the holster on your hip and make sure the paddle seats all the way down on your belt. You want to employ a sharp, fast, decisive draw stroke in an upwards motion. You can use a silicone spray in the trigger guard in order to lower the level of retention.
